Jacques Labouchere's klubb "Growing Up in Public" gör ikväll en comeback på årets upplaga av Just East of Way Out West. Kontiki agerar som vanligt värd och denna gång kommer 5 grymma "up and coming" band få stället att gunga!

Den 11 Augusti är dagen att infinna sig! Förutom livemusik firas det med fantastiska djs som spelar en mix av soul, blues, psych, rock and pop- hela natten lång!

With their minds set on bringing joy to all future encounters, Oholics formed in 2005 to create uplifting, high-energy tunes for a broad and enthusiastic audience. Oholics is a six-piece rock band using a wide selection of instruments including guitar, drums, bass, keys, percussion, space box, and sitar. The group has concocted a sound that is often described with reference to early Stones mixed with Pink Floyd, Oasis, Strokes and Primal Scream.

The Coolness have played over 250 raucous shows in their 3 year history, supporting the likes of Razorlight, Roisin Murphy, Micachu & The Shapes, Crystal Fighters and David E. Sugar, playing at venues such as The Button Factory (Dublin), SEOne, Wedgwood Rooms (Portsmouth), Proud Galleries and 93 Feet East in London.
Press we have achieved in 2009 includes an interview in NME and features in DJ Magazine, London Tour Dates, Le Cool and Le Bouche, as well as regular photo features on the VICE UK Website. In the last year The Coolness have been featured in NME, Timeout, DJ, Super Super, and Double magazine and performed at SXSW.

Tread New Traumas består av sex personer med spridda musikaliska bakgrunder. Influenser kan hittas i genrer som 90-talspop, råpunk, improvisationsjazz och noiserock. De olika beståndsdelarna sammanfogar bandet till en enhetlig spretighet. Låtarna blir såväl dynamiska och melodiösa som bångstyriga och skramliga. Det skall svänga och skeva på samma gång!
